Must Visit Places in Ayodhya
Located near Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan is one of the most beautiful and spiritually important temples in Ayodhya. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ram and Goddess Sita and is famous for its golden crowns and royal architecture. Because of its grand appearance, it is also known as the “Golden Palace.”
According to Hindu beliefs, this palace was gifted to Goddess Sita by Queen Kaikeyi after her marriage to Lord Ram. It is believed to have been the private palace of Lord Ram and Sita. The present structure was rebuilt in 1891 by the Queen of Tikamgarh. Devotees can witness the divine idols of Shri Ram and Mata Sita in an elegant and peaceful atmosphere.
Apart from daily prayers, many festivals and religious celebrations are organized here with great devotion and grandeur, making it a must-visit destination for every traveler visiting Ayodhya.
